LEGIONNAIRE is a bactericidal sanitiser for treating Legionella bacteria in showers and air-conditioning systems. It can also be used as a general hard-surface sanitiser to treat other bacteria. Supplied in 20 litre (4 x 5 litre) cases.
LEGIONNAIRE is a bactericidal sanitiser for treating Legionella, MRSA and virtually all other bacteria. Use LEGIONNAIRE in conjunction with SCALE DOWN to treat Legionella bacteria in high risk water systems such as showers, showerheads, and air-conditioning systems. LEGIONNAIRE is compatible with the approved code of practice (Legionnaires’ disease: The control of legionella bacteria in water systems L8) produced by the Health and Safety Executive in 2000.
LEGIONNAIRE can also be used as a general sanitising cleaner on all other hard surfaces, and passes the requirements of BS EN 13704 for sporicidal activity at a dilution of 1:40, and also passes the requirements of BS EN 1276 for bactericidal activity at a dilution of 1:20. It is phosphate free and biodegradable, and can be used for sanitising use on all bar, kitchen and food preparation surfaces, walls, floors, cabinets, work tops, tables, stainless steel, chrome, tiles, glass, mirrors, modern furnishings and equipment.

STEP 1: Use SCALE DOWN to remove any limescale or sediment buildup from showers, showerheads and air-conditioning systems. Keeping a water system free from limescale or sediment build-up will remove potential habitats for water stagnation and bacteria growth. For further info see: SCALE DOWN. STEP 2: Wipe down all hard surfaces with LEGIONNAIRE. This will neutralise any acidic residue and kill any lingering bacteria activity. Dilute at the ratio of 1:8 (1 part LEGIONNAIRE to 8 parts water). For example add 100 mls of LEGIONNAIRE to a 1 litre spray bottle, then add 800 mls of clean water. Finally rinse with clean water.
For the general sanitising/cleaning on all other hard surfaces, use at the dilution rate of 1:10 (1 part LEGIONNAIRE to 10 parts water). For example add 90 mls of LEGIONNAIRE to a 1 litre spray bottle, then add 900 mls of clean water. Finally rinse with clean water. For sanitising use on all bar, kitchen and food preparation surfaces, walls, floors, cabinets, work tops, tables, stainless steel, chrome, tiles, glass, mirrors, modern furnishings and equipment.
