Several years ago Chemassist® launched their first non-acid drain cleaner called ORPHEUS. ORPHEUS being the name of the Greek Argonaut whose mythical adventures in the underworld inspired the title for this very versatile and safe, alkaline based drain cleaner. ORPHEUS achieves exactly the same results as more aggressive and dangerous sulphuric and hydrochloric acid based drain cleaners, but will not melt plastic pipework or damage metals.
